The Piqua Shawnee is a tribe that is native to North America and spoke the Algonquian language. As historians and archaeologists have shown, the tribe was located in different parts but they were dominant in Alabama, which was then under the territory or Georgia. Multiple census included towns that were predominantly made up of people from the Piqua Shawnee tribe. They have since spread to different parts of the world but most of the members are still in North America.
